Mom found this in the kitchen, tried to pour salt on it thinking it was a leech and

Mom found this in the kitchen, tried to pour salt on it thinking it was a leech and it did nothing. Looks like a snake to me, because of the scales to begin with. And we are quite scared. Tried a little search and all i saw that looked similar was called
